Welcome

Formerly known as The Chelsea Group of Children, Chelsea Hall School is a specialist day school for children aged 4 to 11 years old.

Its aim is to meet each student's unique developmental, behavioural and emotional needs, as well as helping to develop cognitive abilities through a combination of therapeutic and educational input.

Teachers and therapists work as an integrated team within the classrooms, and conduct small group sessions of therapy for all the children, every day. They take a developmental approach, going beyond basic academic skills and looking at the fundamental abilities on which thinking skills and problem solving skills are built.

The school enables children to develop their self esteem and to become independent thinkers, preparing them emotionally, socially, behaviourally, academically and vocationally for the next step in their educational career. This strong foundation enables all learners to progress into adulthood having had a positive education experience and healthy relationships.

"Teachers, teaching assistants and therapists work closely together. They know the pupils and their individual needs extremely well.

Staff use this knowledge to create a bespoke programme of therapies and teaching... (enabling) pupils to engage positively and get the best out of their learning.". Ofsted
