He brings to Cavendish Education a unique combination of CEO, Chair and Director leadership, spanning 35 years. Previously UK CEO at Inspired Education Group, a leading global group of premium schools, Nick led the successful strategic reorganisation and growth of Inspired’s UK business. As Global Education Director at Inspired he raised academic standards across 6 continents and diverse curriculum. Nick has chaired Governing Boards at over 30 schools in the UK and globally.
A founding Advisory Board Member of the UK’s Safeguarding and Child Protection Association, Nick has been Chair of the Boarding Schools Association, Headteacher of one of the UK’s largest and most complex secondary schools, served as a National Leader of Education for the UK Department for Education, and was awarded UK Outstanding New Teacher of the Year in 2007.
Nick is passionate about developing and embedding transformative best practice in specialist education, combining exceptional integrated therapies with academic ambition and unique, forward-thinking curriculum, nurturing and enabling neurodivergent self-advocacy and self-confidence, so young people with SEND excel in extraordinary ways.
