Russell Seaman is Technology Director at Cavendish Education, leading the Group’s technology and digital strategy to support its schools, staff and students.
He brings nearly ten years’ experience in education, having held senior technology leadership roles at Harris Federation, Inspired Education Group and Alpha Plus Group. His experience spans independent schools, academy trusts and international education, with responsibility for digital transformation, cybersecurity, data and the technology that supports teaching and school operations.
Russell takes a practical, collaborative approach, working closely with school leaders and colleagues to understand their needs and ensure technology makes a meaningful difference. He is particularly interested in how digital tools can remove barriers to learning, support teachers and reduce administration, giving staff more time to focus on students.
At Cavendish, his focus is on building secure, reliable and accessible technology services, alongside exploring the thoughtful use of data, artificial intelligence and educational technology to support the individual needs of each school and its learners.
