Bredon School is a place where young people with dyslexia don’t just cope – they thrive. Located on a stunning 80+ acre estate in Tewkesbury, we are a proud dyslexia-specialist boarding and day school for students aged 8-18, offering a level of personalised support and opportunity that transforms lives.
Everything we do is built around understanding how each child learns as an individual, and firmly believe we are a greenhouse not a hothouse. With expert staff, small classes and a dyslexia-friendly approach, our students grow in confidence, independence and ambition from the moment they arrive.
Our curriculum is one of our greatest strengths – a fact recognised in our ISI Report (January 2025), which praised the ‘significant strength’ of the breadth and quality of courses on offer. From GCSEs and A Levels to BTEC qualifications in numerous vocational subjects such as Agriculture, Engineering, Hospitality and Outdoor Education, every student can follow a route that plays to their strengths and leads to meaningful futures.
Life at Bredon is vibrant and hands-on. Whether tending to animals on our working farm, learning in our forest school, scaling our climbing wall, discovering new talents in our creative studios or competing on our pitches, students are constantly encouraged to explore, question and achieve.
We are also proud to have been awarded the prestigious TES Independent Boarding School of the Year 2025-26, recognising the exceptional warmth, care and structure our boarding community provides.
