Welcome to Leith Hill School
Leith Hill School is an independent day school in Surrey for children and young people (7-16 years) with autism, many with co-occurring social, emotional and mental wellbeing needs. We initially open our doors in September 2025 with pupils aged 7 to 14 years old.

Pupils attending Leith Hill School will generally have greater needs than most of their mainstream peers and our focus is on helping them thrive by nurturing their individual strengths and interests. Working together with pupils, our staff develop and implement targeted strategies to help overcome and manage the specific challenges which may hinder learning.

In addition to academic achievement, we emphasise emotional wellbeing, resilience, and the development of social and independent living skills. Our approach is carefully designed through a personal development programme, which includes therapeutic interventions, enrichment activities, and customised learning experiences that aim to build confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of accomplishment. The school stands in a superb, natural therapeutic setting which supports our approach and is carefully designed to reignite interest in learning for each pupil.

We are committed to providing a safe, joyful and inspiring learning environment in which all pupils can develop academically, socially and emotionally to attain and achieve their full potential, allowing them to become effective and fulfilled members of the community, life-long learners and enjoy good mental wellbeing.
