Press Release

At the end of the 2015/16 academic term, Cavendish Education announced that Abingdon House School in Marylebone, London, was to join the Group.

Founder and Chair of Cavendish Education Mr Aatif Hassan said, “I had the privilege to meet with staff and parents from Abingdon House School recently to formally welcome them to the group and to share our vision for the education of their children.”

Abingdon House School is a warm and friendly school welcoming boys and girls from 5-14 years of age and supporting pupils with dyslexia, dyspraxia, high functioning autism and Asperger’s Syndrome as well as speech and language and social and communication needs. As a CReSTeD-accredited school, it is a fabulous addition to the Cavendish Education Group.

In October, The Holmewood School in Finchley, North London, became part of the Cavendish Education family of Schools also.

An NAS-accredited School, The Holmewood School currently caters for 40 students aged between 7 and 19 years old and supports students with High Functioning Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and other social communication needs.

Its Head Teacher, Lisa Camilleri said “Every day we enable each young person to flourish by encouraging and building upon their unique strengths and interests.

“We recognise that every student is different, and the individual hopes, dreams and ambitions of each young person is always our starting point.”

Both Schools are well respected and enjoy great success. Welcome to the Group.
