Burlington House School in Fulham and Ravenscourt Park
As Principal of Burlington House School I am motivated by the progress that our pupils make; whatever challenges they face when they first come to us, they leave as confident independent young adults. Most go on to further and higher education, while others forge exciting and rewarding careers. They are an inspiration to staff and younger pupils.
Our pupils have a vast array of learning styles, yet with our help they thrive and succeed.
“(Pupils’) behaviour in the classroom responds to the nurturing care provided by staff and fully supports their overall achievement.”

The level of pastoral care is apparent from the moment you walk through the door. Our pupils feel nurtured and supported through their entire time with us. Burlington House School is a small school with big ideas, with a team of dedicated staff whose shared belief is that pupils can and do succeed, a school of high challenge and high expectations.

Welcome to Burlington House School, Tooting - a brand new senior school dedicated to providing high quality education for young people who are neurodiverse, or as we like to say, ‘neuroextraordinary’.
We believe that every child deserves the chance to thrive at school regardless of their learning differences. That’s why we have designed a curriculum and an approach that is specifically tailored to enable, equip, and empower our young people to succeed in school and beyond. Our specialist teaching is focused on supporting dyslexia, dyscalculia and similar specific learning differences.
We offer a mainstream curriculum in a specialist setting, with a strong focus on the attainment of GCSEs and progression on to further education. Our academic focus is balanced with our specialist pastoral support.
Offering small class sizes, a staff-to-student ratio of 2:5, classrooms equipped with specialist resources including learner-specific software, and dedicated therapeutic support, we ensure that we remain at the leading edge of specialist teaching by regularly reviewing and evolving our practice.
Our location, an oasis nestled on the doorstep of leafy London parkland, gives pupils and families a choice and a voice within the educational landscape of South London. If you’d like to know more about us, please do get in touch.
